Local CBD/Wellness brand starts partnership program to help animals in need
LOUISVILLE, KY – Applied Botanics is excited to announce their new Non-Profit Pet Partnership Program and their first partner, The Arrow Fund. During the month of March, 50% of all sales from Applied Botanics’ Nano Pet CBD products will be donated to The Arrow Fund to help the treatment of animals who are victims of extreme torture, abuse, or neglect.
“After learning more about The Arrow Fund, and that they are based right here in Louisville, it was an easy decision for us to reach out to them.” said Rich Calabrese, VP of Marketing for Applied Botanics. “We share a mutual goal to provide comfort to all animals and are excited for the opportunity to raise awareness and funds to continue to do just that.”
“With COVID-19, most of our fundraising has been limited to online efforts. So when Applied Botanics reached out to us with this partnership, we were eager to bring it to life.” said Cheryl Noggle of The Arrow Fund. “Our goal is to generate public awareness of animal cruelty issues, and with this partnership in March, we’ll work with Applied Botanics to amplify it.”
The Applied Botanics Nano Pet CBD line was created to aid pets who may suffer from common ailments including stress/anxiety, pain, and aggression – symptoms in which animal care workers are commonly looking to alleviate.
The Arrow Fund is a Kentuckiana-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides veterinary treatment to animals who have been victims of extreme situations. After securing care for these animals their focus extends to holding the abuser responsible for his or her actions. They strive to educate the public regarding the ongoing problem of animal cruelty and advocate strengthening our local, state, and national animal welfare laws.
Following this partnership, Applied Botanics will continue to look for other non-profit organizations to team up with and help promote their cause. In a time where in-person fundraising events are limited, Applied Botanics understands that they have an obligation to be a steward of goodwill to charitable organizations in need.
